Saar Research was founded in 2004 by PC World Magazine's Online Researcher, Kristina Saar. An expert in fact-checking, Saar single-handedly fact-checked every article in each issue of PC World consecutively for three years (2001-2004) as the Research Editor. She began her career in 2000 as an intern fact-checker with Health Magazine, and has freelanced with magazines such as San Francisco Magazine, VIA Magazine and Wired Magazine. Saar has taught and discussed the subject of research and fact-checking at organizations such as The Learning Annex of San Francisco, Bay Area Editor's Forum and the East Bay Editors Guild.
